In the late afternoon of Sunday, November 15, 2015, staff at the Saline County Detention Center contacted Emergency Medical Services for an unresponsive inmate.  Later that evening, Mr. Donavan Arras was pronounced deceased by the Saline County Coroner’s Office.

Detectives from the Saline County Sheriff's Office, Criminal Investigation Division (CID) responded to the Detention Center and an investigation is currently underway.  Mr. Arras’s body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s (ME) Office in Little Rock, Arkansas.  The results of the ME’s investigation will be released at a later time.
