On February 17, 2012 Deputies responded to 1022 Lawrence Drive, Benton, Saline County, Arkansas, for an illegal burn.  Upon their arrival a W/M, Michael Dickson, ran into the woods.  Deputies and Detectives found what appeared to be stolen copper and 4-wheeler.

On March 23, 2012 Detectives attempted to locate Dickson, and observed him leaving Lawrence Drive, with female subject.  Deputies attempted to pull him over as he was leaving.  He sped up and refused to stop.  He cut across Salem Citgo parking lot onto Salem Road, where he then turned onto Bucky Lane, which dead-ends.  There Deputies took him into custody.  Detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence.  In the search a large amount of tools and equipment, and the components for a methamphetamine lab were located.  Benton P.D. and Bryant P.D. were notified and a large number of the tools and equipment were found to have been stolen from those jurisdictions.  Approximately $40,000.00 worth of stolen property was recovered.
