On September 2, 2008, at approximately 2 A.M., Saline County Sheriff's Deputies responded to Riverside Grocery, located at Hwy 5 South and Mulberry Salem Road, for a burglar alarm. Upon arrival, they found that a rock had been thrown through the front door and a number of cartons of cigarettes had been taken. Saline County Detectives arrived and processed the crime scene. Using information received from the surveillance camera and an anonymous tip, detectives found the suspect vehicle at a residence in Benton. The two suspects were located at that residence and arrested for Commercial Burglary (Class C Felony) and Theft of Property (Class B Felony). Detectives recovered approx. $1000.00 worth of cigarettes from the suspect's vehicle.

• Brandon Seawright, 21 years of age, Benton

They were booked into the Saline County Jail and are currently being held on $5000 bond. Seawright also had a commitment warrant out of Benton PD that was served on him.
