On Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 1145 hours, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office responded to Saline Memorial Hospital for a report of a woman being burned. The victim told deputies that she and Rodney Clay Warren were in an argument at a residence, 18200 South Alexander Road. He then threw a flammable liquid on her, set it and her on fire. Warren then fled the scene as the flames were being put out.
Detectives received information the next day, Thursday November 13, 2013, that Warren was at a residence on Ashley Cove, Alexander. Saline County Deputies and Alexander P.D. Officers arrested Warren at that residence without incident.
