Saline County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) deputies are enroute from Conroe, Texas, with Jeffrey Mays.  Mays escaped from custody on February 3, 2016 and was arrested by Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies on February 10, 2016.  It is anticipated that Mays will be booked into the Saline County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center later this afternoon.

Additional charges are pending on Mays.  In connection with a stabbing which took place in East End in October 2015, Mays has been charged with Criminal Attempt to Commit 1st Degree Murder, a Class A felony and two counts of 1st Degree Terroristic Threatening, a Class D felony.
