DETENTION SERGEANT

  • SALARY RANGE OF $16.06 - $18.07 PER HOUR FOR A NEW HIRE NON-CERTIFIED; 
  • SALARY RANGE OF UP TO $18.71 PER HOUR FOR A NEW HIRE CERTIFIED BY CLEST PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT;
  • THIS POSITION IS DESIGNATED AS A "SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION" AS DEFINED BY ACT 593 OF 2017;
  • AS WITH ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT POSITIONS, OVERTIME IS EARNED AFTER WORKING 85.5 HOURS DURING THE 14 DAY WORK PERIOD.  ALL TIME UP TO 85.5 HOURS IS PAID AT STRAIGHT TIME.
