Copper theft arrest
Dyer Plumbing reported a theft that occurred sometime between 8/30 – 9/1/13, where approximately eight thousand ($8,000.00) dollars’ worth of copper was taken from the business. Dyer suspected one of his employees could be involved. Detectives checked Leads Online and found that the listed suspect, Crabb (an employee of Dyer’s), had sold the exact items taken, to a salvage yard.
Detectives located Crabb at a local motel on Tuesday 9/24/13, when Detectives made contact with him he admitted to stealing the items and selling them. Cobb was arrested and charged with the theft.
